Habits are the bricks that build a healthy life.
This is THE habits book. It’s just as informative as it is actionable (and that’s what’s crucial).
Making tiny little changes to some of the things in my life have had HUGE impacts:
- Exercise:
- A designated bag and outfit, laid out and ready (make it easy!)
- Adding a relaxing spa session at the end of each workout (make it satisfying!)
- Finances:
- Automated Investing (make it easy!)
- Budgeting app to track (reduce) spending (make it obvious!)
- Dashboard for tracking our financial goals (make it obvious/satisfying!)
- Music Practice:
- Put guitar on a stand with increase visibility/accessibility (make it easy!)
- TV Watching (reduce):
- Re-arrange furniture to make window (not TV) focus of the room (make it difficult!)
- Put the remote beneath the TV, not leave it on the couch (make it difficult!)
